Pork with black beans

Actually it's an overdue post but I decided to post it though.It's one of my husband's favorite dish I prepared.If you are always cooking the traditional adobo style,why not try pork with black beans for a change?I guarantee you,it's very delicious!masarap talaga to the max :)

It's so simple and easy to do,you can use chicken fillet too.First,sauté garlic and onions.When the garlic started to get brown and the onions get translucent,add the pork,cook it for a while.Then add some soysauce,the black beans,a little water(my husband likes sauce :) and I added star anise too, to give more flavor.Put some pepper and glutamate to taste.Just simmer it after mixing all the ingredients and that's it!

I'm sick

It's almost a week since I haven't updated my blog and I haven't visited some of you guys,Im really sorry for that.It's all because until now I'm not feeling well due to lack of sleeps since I started blogging.It's really hard coz after work I'm tired already and then at night when I arrived I have to prepare our dinner and after that I do bloghopping and wrote some articles for my blog.Tha'ts why I am sick and have some headaches until now.
Now,my husband doesn't want me to stay up late till wee hours,he make sure that I'm not infront of the computer after midnight:(

But I'll make it up to you guys,I'll visit you soon,need to regain my energy first :)

Wordless Wednesday: Bikes in Netherland

I know that Netherland is not only known for their beautiful tulips,wood shoes but also for their being bike lover too!I think every family owns 1 or 2 bikes :)But I was still amazed when we visited there and saw a bunch of bicycles in one place,there were many of them just like in the photo!Anywhere,everywhere you go in Netherland,you will see lots of people riding their bicycles.What an eco-friendly nation!

Parliament Building in London

When you say London,one of the places that would come up to your mind is the Parliament Building where you can see also the famous Big Ben.The building is near the Westminster street and not far from Victoria garden and London Eye.It is open to all people.There,you can tour the buildings,watch the debates and committees and even climb the clock tower.It's really beautiful,especially when you watch it along the river and have a bigger view of the building,wow!

When we were there,we didn't have the chance to go inside,too bad!I was pregnant at that time so I don't want to walk for hours and usually if you visit like this building which has many rooms to roam around,it takes longer to visit.Instead we went to the Downing Street where Tony Blair's live.We were only at the gate,we couldn't go inside ,there are many guards.

Vegetable Salad

Yesterday,we just have a vegetable salad with bread in our dinner coz we were still full from the food we ate at lunch.It's very good,I like the combination of tomatoes,batavia,onions and olives and some herbes.It's nice too if you want to make some diet :)

French people love to eat veges and fruits,I guess that's the reason why they live longer :)

Eiffel Tower video

Here's my video of Eiffel Tower and part of Trocadero taken last Saturday.It's not very clear because it was a cloudy day.But still you can still appreciate the beauty of the tower.Even if we're still on the end of winter,there are still lots of tourists visting at this time.It's really better on summer,but for the meantime pagpasensyahan no nalang ito.

Mondial de L'automobile (Paris Motor Show)

The Mondial de l'automobile or Paris Motor Show happens every 2 years,sometime in September.It was even the first moto show in the world.Many car enthusiasts flock in this exposition held usually in Paris Expo at the Porte de Versailles.

Since my husband likes everything about cars,we were so lucky to visit the expo.There,we saw many luxurious cars,some futuristic cars and some other cars from different participated countries.

Six Unimportant things/habits/quirks about my self:

1.I eat medium done meat.I was influenced by my husband but not to the extent the same with him coz I’ll never eat a meat with lots of blood

2.When I have something to do,I tend to take my time,that’s why,I’m always late.

3.I talk when I sleep.My family and Rene can attest to that.But I always said to them,it’s impossible! but I believed them now hehehe.

4.I talk to myself.Yes,it’s bizarre to other’s but it’s me.That way I can burst out what I have inside especially when I’m angry.

5. I tend to promise but usually failed to do it right away.As I said,I take my time but forgot that the time passed by already.

6. When shopping I tend to turn and turn around,I spend hours in the store just looking for few items.That’s why my mother before didn’t want to bring me with her and even Rene sometimes said that to me too.

Photohunt: Different

Hello Guys,this is my first time to join photohunt.The two pictures below were taken when we were in Tunisia,North Africa.Since the theme is different,I chose these photos because I rarely see them,infact I only saw these things in that place.

These are the preserved snakes,scorpions giant lizards and other different insects in the frame.

Tarte aux Fraises (Strawberry Pie)

Here in France,usually the desserts comme gateaux are in tarte with fruits.Not the usual pie I see in the Philippines.Here they love putting any kinds of seasonal fruits on their cakes or pies.

I had some strawberries in the fridge so I made tarte aux fraises or strawberry pie in english.Normally I use it for strawberry shake,my husband loves it but since I haven't baked for sometime now and I wanted to eat a gateaux.I love doing it because it's easy to make and it's so delicious!

Euro Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Resort Paris is located at Marne la Vallee and it has two park,the Disneyland Park and the Disney Studio.Disneyland Park is an amusement theme park composed of of five imaginary lands to enjoy,the Adventureland, Fantasyland, Discoveryland, Frontierland and Main street USA.

What I loved and most waited is the Parade of Disney characters,it reminisced my childhood.I watched almost those cartoons.It was so nice seeing them alive hehehe.

Disneyland Studio main attractions are Armageddon special effects,rock and roller coaster ride,disney animation,cinemagique to name a few.Rock and Roller coaster Ride with Aerosmith,seems that you're doing 360 degrees of turn,100km/h of speed in less that 3 seconds,I remember I told my self that,it would be my first and last,I thought I'll end up there.I just screamed out loud with tears for me to be able to breathe.Same thing happened to me when I rode the Space Mountain at Disneyland Park.I guess rides like that are intended to those with high adrenalin and seeking some adventures.

By the way,they are celebrating their 15 anniversary,so kids 7 years below will get free accomodation and free entrance to both Disney Parks.That's great,right?

You will really enjoy visiting here,just be early so that you can have a taste of each ride.

Sacré Coeur (The Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre)

The Sacred Heart Basilica of Montmartre is one of the popular landmarks here in France and it is located on top of the hill in 18 arrondisement of Paris.It's a church and a place for Pilgrimage.It's a sanctuary where perpetual prayer attracts many "pèlerins" of France and even in other countries.

To go there,you must hike up the hill or if you want, you can take the funicular.It's a great feeling after you're done hiking,you will see the beautiful panoramic view of Paris.
