Palacio Real de Madrid or The Royal Palace

When we went to Madrid,the capital city of Spain,we visited many known landmarks of the city.One of those was the famous Palacio Real or the Royal Palace.They said it was once the official residence of the King of Spain.Also it is the largest palace in europe.

The Quart Towers,Valencia Spain

The Quart Towers or the Torres de Quart is one of the places that we have visited when we were in Valencia.I noticed that the two towers were cylinder shape at the front but were flat at the back.It's interesting to see the many holes on the wall.I asked my husband about it and he said maybe those were cause by the bullets during the war.

It is one of the monuments of Valencia that a tourist should see.

Vacation is over

Vacation is over.It's been almost a week that we have returned from our vacation in Spain.It was really hot there but we really enjoyed our stay.We have visited many places.I like Barcelona,it is a very beautiful city.We got the chance to visit some of Gaudi's masterpieces which are Barcelona's famous landmarks.We also went to Valencia,the third biggest city in Spain.It's also a beautiful city with lots of beautiful and interesting places to see.

We like their beaches,especially the ones in the Castellon.It's very clean and not very crowded unlike the beaches in Tarragona.Sometimes if we don't want to be at the beach,we use the pool.Alex also enjoyed swimming at the pool.

I miss Bangkok Thailand

I miss Bangkok Thailand.It's been almost a year since we have visited the place.Too bad that the time we were there,there was a big chaos in the city and we couldn't roam around at night.But now,all are in good place.So hopefully when we go back there,we will visit the places that we didn't see.

Upto this day,I miss the Chatuchak market and eating their yummy street foods.Everytime I look at our vacation photos,I always drool of their foods.We were there for 8 days and for me it wasn't enough.I really love Bangkok.I even told my husband what if we live in Bangkok even for just a year.My husband told me that it will be difficult for us to live there coz a lot of Thais don't speak english.Communication will be hard.

Nevertheless,I am looking forward for our next visit there.

Wanting to visit again the Philippines

My family in the Philippines really miss us especially Alex.Everytime I call them,they always said when we will coming back.They want us to comeback very soon.They miss so much Alex and even wanted us to send him there first hahahha :)I am sure my husband will not allow it :)

Me too,I wanted to visit and see my family especially now that my father is getting older.I've been here in France for 10 long years and was able to visit them 3 times.In those 3 times,those weren't enough to spend time with them even if we have stayed 1-3 months.

Maybe if we have enough spare money to buy three airline tickets and some pocket money,maybe we will go there soon.But for now,we have to save first for our Philippines vacation.

I miss you all there!

We are leaving...

Yes we are leaving today.Our 3 month vacation is over.For me,it was not even long,I preferred that we stayed more longer so that I could spend much time with my family.

I am sad coz I don't know when we will comeback again here in Philippines.Maybe after 2 or 3 years,I hope the soonest.I will surely miss my family.Though I can call them everyday and see them on webcam but nothing compares when they are near me.Also Alex has a close relationship to my sister and I am sure he gonna look for his tita.

Vacation in Bangkok

We were in Bangkok,Thailand for 8 days.Our vacation went well but unfortunately we couldn`t roam around in the center of Bangkok because the protesters were there and they closed the roads.We couldn`t even go around at night coz there was a curfew and some places were occupied by the protesters.

But the chaos in Bangkok didn`t stop us to enjoy our vacation.We went to Grand Palace,The Reclining Buddha,Ayutthaya,the ancient capital city of Bangkok,Siam Park,Samphran Elephant Zoo,Dream World and their famous market Chatuchak,the largest market in the world.We really had a great time there.Our unforgettable experiences were when we ride the elephants,embracing and caressing them and to be able to see the man putting his head inside the mouth of the crocodile.

My husband said that we will surely go back to Bangkok.I just hope that the next time we go there,the city will be in normal and safe again.

Chaos in Bangkok

We are here in Bangkok since last Friday.Since we arrive,the situation here became more hard.We always see some smoke from the burning tires,many armies and police outside.Whenever we go back to our hotel,numerous times we passed the Victory Monument where some of the protesters stay that made me afraid.

Yesterday was the worst,there was a curfew from 8PM-6AM to all the places surrounding Bangkok.Lots of establishment were burned.All the malls,offices,stores were closed so early.

Though our hotel is not very far from the camp of red shirts(Pratunam,Silom,etc),we are still safe here.Too bad that we couldn't go to Malls or even roam around at night.It's really a bad timing vacation for us but nevertheless,we enjoyed our time visiting the outskirts of Bangkok.

Excited for our Philippines vacation

Yes,I'm so excited for our Philippine vacation next year.Seven months to go and we are off to Davao City.I really miss my family,the foods and the nice beaches there.I really can't wait to be with them.I even bought already some gifts that we gonna bring.Right now,we are looking for some nice luggages coz when we went for a vacation this year in Portugal,our luggage got some slits and the handle was broke.When we are looking on the net,we saw a nice pair of blue Samsonite luggage.It was really nice and we thought that it was a durable luggage base on the photos we saw.And the nice thing too is that the price is very affordable,it was even in a discounted price.I don't know if they can ship it here in europe.Hope we can see the same thing here in France.

I want all the things be prepared before we go so that I will not be in rush when it's time for us to fly to the Philippines.

Visiting the province of my mother

Last week,my family in the Philippines visited Makilala in Kidapawan City.It's about a two hour drive from Davao City and it's the province of my mother.I remembered,I was 12 years old the last time I visited there and never been back eversince.Since next year we will be going back to Philippines again,we will visit the place so that he will see the province of my mother and to be able to experience a provencial life.

I miss going to the river,just playing and swimming in the cold water,eating lots of fresh fruits like durian,marang,rambutan,young coconut(buko),lanzones and some other fruits and also to see our relatives.

I'm happy that my husband finally agreed to go there coz before he was so hesitant about the place but my family assured that it's safe to go there.I'm so excited,wish it will be next year tomorrow :)!!!

Alex's first visit to Disneyland

Last week we went to Disneyland again in Paris to let Alex experience the magic of Mickey :).It was Alex's first visit.We decided to take him there since he likes mickey and friends.It is one of his favorite cartoons and everytime he sees their photos,it makes him happy.

When we were there,at first he didn't enjoy much,he just looked around but in the afternoon when we took some rides,he started to smile and enjoy.He was happy and really enjoyed the parade.He was able to see the cartoon characters that he usually watch on TV.

Maybe we will go back there when Alex is big enough to appreciate the park and rides.

Portugal,here we come!!

Tomorrow we will be leaving here to have a 2 week vacation in Portugal.We will visit Lisbon the capital city and the city of Albufeira known for it's beautiful beaches.I'm so excited to discover these places.Hope the weather is good there coz here in our place,it rains a lot.

Grand Canal,Venice Italy

These are the photos we have taken in the Grand Canal of Venice Italy.It's the main way to visit Venice since it connects to the minor canals.The best way to see it is by boat.Just by passing the grand canal,you will see lots of beautiful buildings and different boats.

I tell you,it's really a beautiful place,so if you're planning to go to Italy,never forget to visit Venice.Too bad,we didn't have the chance to ride a gondola that time coz we were afraid that Alex still small and will move a lot in the boat.

Having some poses with Roman soldier in Rome

When we were approching Vittoriano or the Altar of the Nation at Piazza Venezia in Rome Italy,we saw a man wearing like a Roman soldier.I told my husband that I would like to take some photos with him.I asked the man and he said yes but we have to pay him some euros and I said ok.We were really having fun doing some poses with him.It's one of the nice souvenirs that we had in Rome.Here are some of the pics we've taken with the man.

Greetings here in Italy!

Hello guys,we are in Italy right now having our vacation.I'm really sorry for not visiting again.Promise,I'll be visiting you guys as I did before once we are backin France and once we have our internet connection.It's been almost 3 months that we suffer this thing,no telephone and internet.But I have to forget the anger that I have coz we are here to relax and enjoy the city.Im here at the net cafe of the hotel.Pix to be followed once we arrive.Bisous to all!

We are in Italy right now

Yes,we are in Italy right now.We arrived yesterday.We will be staying here for 10 days I guess.Since the two of us don't work,we can stay longer,no one waits at home :).This vacation is my birthday gift as my husband always do,an out of country vacation.I'll be celebrating my 30th birthday here.Hope our staywill be nice andmemorable one.I'll not stay longer coz I'm using the computer here in hotel.I'll be back to you guys once we arrive in France,I hope our internet connection will be up for good.
