It's spring now!!!!

I am glad that it's spring now and I can finally say goodbye to my thick coats.I really hate winter,not only it's very cold season but I hate to wear piles of thick clothes just to keep me warm.

Spring and summer are my favorite seasons.I like spring coz it's not very cold and not very hot.The flowers now are starting to bloom.Some of my jacinthes flower are already blooming.It smells very good but this time I don't want to cut it and put in the vase.I just let it there in our garden.

I like spring season but it's also a pain for me if I don't take my medicine.I am allergic to pollen.It's bizarre coz when I was still in Philippines,I am not allergic to pollens,it was only when I arrived here.So for me not to suffer sore eyes and itchy nose,I have to take some pills before the spring starts until summer.

But nonetheless,I am happy that it's SPRING now :)

Alex counting 1 to 100

We are just so proud of Alex coz he can count 1-100 in english and can also write it.He also know how to count 1-60 in french,he has a difficulty in uttering the words in french after 60 and he would count in english instead.

Visiting the province of my mother

Last week,my family in the Philippines visited Makilala in Kidapawan City.It's about a two hour drive from Davao City and it's the province of my mother.I remembered,I was 12 years old the last time I visited there and never been back eversince.Since next year we will be going back to Philippines again,we will visit the place so that he will see the province of my mother and to be able to experience a provencial life.

I miss going to the river,just playing and swimming in the cold water,eating lots of fresh fruits like durian,marang,rambutan,young coconut(buko),lanzones and some other fruits and also to see our relatives.

I'm happy that my husband finally agreed to go there coz before he was so hesitant about the place but my family assured that it's safe to go there.I'm so excited,wish it will be next year tomorrow :)!!!

Summer is here!!!!!

Finally it's summer!!!!I really like this season.It seems that I am in the Philippines right now,it's really hot!Here in Montlucon,it's 36 degree celcius and it's only the beginning of summer here in France.I'm excited for the series of barbecue that we will gonna do at home.It's the only time that we can eat and cook outdoor so we have to take advantage the nice weather that we are having right now.Bye bye cloudy day,hello Mr sunshine :)

Happy Valentines day to all!!! may our relationship to our husband/partner become more stronger and love will always be around.Me and my husband just stayed home coz it snowed a lot here yesterday,he just kissed and greeted me.I didn't have flowers this year :( but it's already enough for me knowing that he loves and cares for me a lot.

We didn't go out today

We did not go out today even if it is the starting day of the nationwide sale here in France.I was so excited yesterday coz my husband already said that we'll go to some stores to look for some nice deals but sad to say,it's very cold here.It's freezing to the max!!!,it's -8 degree celcius right now.Fortunately,we didn't have snow unlike in some northern areas of France.

Usually it's the time that we shop more for clothes since the discounts are from 30%-50%.We always take this opportunity to shop to save some money.I hope tomorrow we'll have the chance to go out and the temperature will go up.

This picture was taken last December 31,2005 in our apartment before.It was new years's eve and I was 8 months pregnant(I gave birth after 9 days).Usually we go to Janese's house every new year to celebrate,but that time it was hard for me to travel and walk long distance.So we decided that it will be done at home.It was my husband who prepared all but I helped him in serving the foods :).It was me who arranged and decorated the table though.

Though we were only 4 couples but it was fun.We had some exchanging gifts and games.It was really nice to see again our friends.Too bad that we were not there this year with them.

Our Christmas family gathering

Our family christmas gathering was great.That was also the time for them to be reunited again since his brothers and sisters live far from each other and especially to see my mother in law who will be 102 this coming April.It was so good to see them again.

We had a great lunch,we ate some smoked salmon,some prawns,foie gras on entree.We had a big roasted lamb on the main course with veges and some cakes and tartes on dessert.We started at almost 1PM and finished at 4PM,we were very full at the end of the meal,who wouldn't be? :)

Alex was very happy with all the gifts he received from his uncles,aunties and also from his sister.

Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year to all!!!May we have a wonderful christmas and a fruitful new year.On the 26th will be going to Paris and will stay there until January 1.We'll have family reunions to attend and will be celebrating new year at Janese's house.I'm hoping that in the next new year celebration,we will celebrate it with my family in Philippines.Too bad it didn't push through this year.

Our weekend

Since we have some many trees and plants here,it's really tiring everytime we clean the yard especially now that it's autumn,many leaves were already fallen.It rained,so we didn't finish cleaning the yard yesterday and also it was very cold outside.

I made an apricot pie yesterday and today my husband cooked a Paella.It was very good and has lots of stuffs(chicken fillet,shrimps,mussels and other sea foods).Usually on Sundays,we make it a point that the food is kind'a special,a food that we don't usually eat on weekdays.

We went out

Now that it's cold,we seldom go out coz I don't like to wear layers of layers of clothes and I just hate the cold weather.But,we went out yesterday,we went to the bank first to send some money to my family in Davao then we head to the super store for grocery shopping.Bought some foods,stuffs for baby and books for my husband.We didn't stay longer there,normally we do some window shopping in some of the boutiques in the mall.It rained a lot and it was very cold outside that's why we went home straight after shopping.

A terrible week for us

Yes,what a terrible week for us.For almost eight years that we've been together,it was the first time that my husband got very ill,admitted in the hospital and be operated.I was really scared when he started to feel severe abdominal pain,had difficulty to walk,wanted to vomit and even difficulty to speak.I told him,we should go to the hospital since I know it was really serious and I was glad that he agreed with me,I know my husband,he doesn't want to go to the hospital if possible.

The doctor said,it was really on time that we were at the hospital,because it was already an acute appendicitis,if he wasn't treated that day,it maybe very dangerous to him.Glad that his operation went well and he stayed 5 days in the hospital.I'm glad that we're at home now.But still he just couldn't believed until now that at his age,appendicitis will hit him.I'm just thankful to God that his safe now.

When we were approching Vittoriano or the Altar of the Nation at Piazza Venezia in Rome Italy,we saw a man wearing like a Roman soldier.I told my husband that I would like to take some photos with him.I asked the man and he said yes but we have to pay him some euros and I said ok.We were really having fun doing some poses with him.It's one of the nice souvenirs that we had in Rome.Here are some of the pics we've taken with the man.

We have an internet at last!

We just arrived at home.We stayed in the beach resort in San Vicenzo in Tuscan region.We also visited Pisa,Florence,Rome and Venice.It was all worth the money that we spent because Italy is so beautiful especially Venice.

You know,even if we were still tired yesterday but knowing that our internet is up,we were so happy and suddenly we're wide awake :)I was so excited and even still awake till 4 in the morning talking to my family in Philippines since we have now a telephone connection too and checking my mails without watching the time pass unlike in internet cafe that I was always checking the clock :)

Now,I can visit you guys.I'll surely pass at your blog starting this evening here in France.Thanks for the visits and patience.

We still don't have internet

I'm still using internet cafe in checking my emails up to now.Honestly,it's been almost 2 months that our internet connection is not yet up.Maybe our modem has a problem coz they already checked the telephone line and it was ok.The only thing that we can do for now is wait but the wait becomes very very long and it really irritates me and it freaks me out!It's really difficult not to have telephone and internet,I swear!

For that spand of time,I missed a lot of opportunities and I still haven't visit you guys.Hope you understand,I'll really make up to all of you.Once again,thanks for the constant visit.If only I can stay longer here in internet cafe but I can't it's quite expensive and it's quite far from home.

Just to let you know

Hello guys,I'm in the internet cafe right now.I thought that our internet connection is already up after waiting a month but unfortunately,we only had it for a day.We were so upset that the connection was interrupted.I've written some posts that 1 day but never had a chance to pay a visit yet.I'm really sorry guys.I couldn't stay longer here in internet cafe.

A change in our life

Since we move here,there are some changes in our life.Before when we were still in our flat,I already had a handful of chores and at the same time I was working that time.Now that we are here and both of us don't work since my husband took an early retirement and still we can't cope up yet the chores in the house.Maybe because now,we have a yard to clean,some plants to take care of and a lot of things to do in the house.It's really a big change for us.It's tiring but also pleasant especially when we eat in our terrace overlooking the city and can make some barbecue.

Happy in our new place

We have lots of work at home right now but still we are happy.We intend to do it little by little.Alex can now run outside without the fears that we felt when we were still in our flat in Sevran.We started cleaning the yard,we were very exhausted but we were happy seeing that all those tall grass are gone now.We bought a playset for Alexandre to put in our backyard which includes slide,swing and a ladder where he can play with the kids.I'm just happy to be here in our new place!

Hi everyone,I want to thank all bloggers who constantly visiting my blogs during my absent.Some of you know that we moved to our new abode.For a month we didn't have an internet connection and telephone.But yesterday I was very happy because finally we had our internet but still we can't call,our telephone is not yet working,it will take another week again.Our connection is kind'a slow for the moment.

Leaving soon

It's our last day now to fix all things.We have to finish today all the packaging and clean the house before we will hand the key to the new owner.Also today will be my last internet connection coz hubby will arrange the computer set and tables.In our new place there will be no electricity,telephone and internet for the moment.How I wish it will not take longer to have it.I have to finish all my tasks this week,got to go now.
