Merdeka Square is a historical place for Malaysian people.It's actually called the Independence Square.At this place,Malaysian independence was declared.To symbolize it,they put a very high flagpole with a big Malaysian flag in the middle of the square.Right infront of the square,you can see the beautiful Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
