St Peter's Basilica,Vatican Italy

The majority of Filipinos are catholic.Aside of wanting to go to Bethlehem in Israel,many of them dream to go to St Peter's Basilica too.It was a dream come true for me when we visited the Vatican city 2 years ago and saw the very known Basilica in the world.

Year 2008 was my 30th birthday and my husband's birthday gift to me was our trip to Italy.When we visited Rome,we also went to Vatican City since it's in Rome.My husband told me that it's in Rome but a different state.

Egg hunting

When we were in Paris staying at my husband's sister home,it was also easter Sunday.The couple gave an egg hunting experience to Alex.Though he was alone doing it at this time,our little boy had fun searching the chocolate eggs :)It was his second experience of egg hunting.After he found all the eggs,he was so happy to show us his basket full of eggs.He then enjoyed eating all those chocolate eggs at home :)

The Gondolas in Venice,Italy

Venice is very known for it's gondolas.Gondola is one of the means of transportation in Venice.Venetian people use it until now eventhough there are lots of ferries available.It is practical to use gondolas especially in the small or petite canals where ferries couldn't pass.

When we were there,we didn't have the chance to ride it coz Alex was still young and moves a lot.We were afraid that Alex will have tantrums and will move a lot while riding the gondola.We just contented looking those numerous gondolas and their gondoliers passing through the canals.

It's spring now!!!!

I am glad that it's spring now and I can finally say goodbye to my thick coats.I really hate winter,not only it's very cold season but I hate to wear piles of thick clothes just to keep me warm.

Spring and summer are my favorite seasons.I like spring coz it's not very cold and not very hot.The flowers now are starting to bloom.Some of my jacinthes flower are already blooming.It smells very good but this time I don't want to cut it and put in the vase.I just let it there in our garden.

I like spring season but it's also a pain for me if I don't take my medicine.I am allergic to pollen.It's bizarre coz when I was still in Philippines,I am not allergic to pollens,it was only when I arrived here.So for me not to suffer sore eyes and itchy nose,I have to take some pills before the spring starts until summer.

But nonetheless,I am happy that it's SPRING now :)
