Our Christmas family gathering

Our family christmas gathering was great.That was also the time for them to be reunited again since his brothers and sisters live far from each other and especially to see my mother in law who will be 102 this coming April.It was so good to see them again.

We had a great lunch,we ate some smoked salmon,some prawns,foie gras on entree.We had a big roasted lamb on the main course with veges and some cakes and tartes on dessert.We started at almost 1PM and finished at 4PM,we were very full at the end of the meal,who wouldn't be? :)

Alex was very happy with all the gifts he received from his uncles,aunties and also from his sister.

Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year to all!!!May we have a wonderful christmas and a fruitful new year.On the 26th will be going to Paris and will stay there until January 1.We'll have family reunions to attend and will be celebrating new year at Janese's house.I'm hoping that in the next new year celebration,we will celebrate it with my family in Philippines.Too bad it didn't push through this year.

So I'm saying this in advance coz I don't know if I still have the chance to visit all the blogs.Merry Christmas and advance Happy New Year once again!!!

The fortress in Rethymno Crete Island,Greece

When we visited Greece,we also went to Crete island after visiting Athens.Since it was summer that time and my husband likes to go to the beach,we decided that we also have to go to the southern part of Greece where beautiful islands and beaches could be found.There we visited Heraklion,Chania and Rethymno.We stayed there in Rethymno and we had the chance to visit the fortress.They said that it was built by the Venetians,to protect the people from the Turkish threat.It's a beautiful place,in the fortress you can see the vast blue colored ocean and the village of Rethymno.

My husband likes to visit historical places,everytime we visited places like that,he always read the history of the place but me,busy taking pictures hehehe.

Banana peel:shoe shiner

Do you know that banana peel can be use to shine your shoes? yes,it's true.I have read it on the net and many people already tried this one.What you have to do,is to rub the inside of the banana peel to the shoes and buff it with the use of cloth then you're done.It's so easy,I'm gonna try this too.Instead of throwing it,make use of it.That way,you save some money.

PEP:Philippine Entertainment Portal

When I was still in the Philippines,I really like to watch entertainment shows like The Buzz or Showbiz Central in Philippines.I remembered,I just switched the channels from time to time to be able to watch the 2 programs.Now that I'm in France,I always read the online showbiz chikka on PEP or the Philippine Entertainment Portal.With this site,I'm always updated on the latest news in the Philippine showbiz landia :)
