National Museum of Art of Catalunya,Barcelona

After we went to Monjuic Castle,we went to National Museum of Art of Catalunya since it wasn't so far away.We went there to see the Magic Fountain which is located at the same place.Magic Fountain is a spectacular display of lights,colors and music together.It's a must see in Barcelona at night.

When we were there,it was still in the afternoon,so it was just a normal fountain.It will change into magical at night.Too bad,my son was so grumpy at that day and my husband didn't want to stay long.

Montjuic Castle in Barcelona,Spain

Montjuic Castle is one of the famous landmarks in Barcelona.It is located on the top of the hill overlooking the harbour and the whole city.

If you want to have a nice look of the whole city and at the same time to see a historical fortress,visit the Montjuic Castle.

You can go there by car,bus and by cable car.Too bad,we haven't had the chace to ride the cable car that time due to the bad weather.

Panoramic view of Barcelona,Spain

Before reaching the castle of Montjuic,where the cable car is,there's a place where you can stop by.Many tourists usually flock here to buy souvenirs and also to see the panoramic view of the whole Barcelona.

La Pedrera or Casa Mila,Barcelona Spain

Casa Mila or they call it also La Pedrera is one of the works of Antoni Gaudi.The place is very close to Casa Battlo.Again,the facade of the building is so unique just like his other works.

Too bad we didn't have the chance to go inside.It must be interesting to see the rooftop and the unique ventilations towers.

Casa Batllo,Barcelona Spain

The visit in Barcelona Spain is not complete without seeing some of the architectural works of Antoni Gaudi.We already visited the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell,so on our next day visit,we went to Casa Batllo.As usual,the designs of these two buildings are unique.

I was really fascinated with the facades of the two buildings.The mosaic works are great.So don't miss this place if you happen to visit Barcelona.

Parc Guell,Barcelona Spain

Parc Guell is a garden designed by Antoni Gaudi who also designed the famous Sagrada de Famillia Basilica.In this place,you will see lots of the mosaic works of Gaudi.The mosaic dragon fountain,terrace and some mosaic tiled ceilings.

It's really a unique place and I think it's one of the must see landmarks in Barcelona.

Sagrada Familia Church,Barcelona Spain

For our third time visit in Spain,we decided to explore the east side of the country for two weeks.We visited Tarragona,Valencia and it's nearby cities and Barcelona.When we went to Barcelona,we visited first the Sagrada Familia Church.When I was still doing our itinerary for Barcelona,I have read that the visit or vacation in Barcelona is not complete without visiting the famous landmark which is the Sagrada Familia church.Sagrada Familia Church or Basilica was designed by architect Antoni Gaudi.The design is mix of gothic and modern style.

When we visited the place,summer has just started so there were many people.There was a long queue and we have waited an hour and half under the heat of the sun before we arrived at the entrance.But all the effort was worth it coz the church was so unique and beautiful.
